Willow
Creek’s Aqua-Loc® Permeable Interlocking Concrete Paver System can create usable spaces that
previously were unsuitable for paving—especially on
urban commercial sites subject to new federal
Clean Water Act stormwater regulations. The
Aqua-Loc system permits stormwater to drain through
voids between the pavers into subsurface retention
areas, where it’s directed through a series of
natural filtration processes before gradually
exiting the system. By creating subsurface detaining
and filtration areas, the need for space-wasting
retention ponds is dramatically reduced or even
eliminated.
Willow Creek Concrete Products produces Aqua-Loc in
partnership with Advanced Pavement Technology, a
30-year pioneer in the development of permeable
interlocking concrete paver systems. The Aqua-Loc
system is an acceptable “Best Management Practice”
that meets stormwater management and pollutant
discharge requirements of the Clean Water Act.
Aqua-Loc is available in three attractive
colors—Slate, Sandstone and Sedona—that complement
our full line of Willow Creek Paving Stones.
Aqua-Loc permeable pavers are available exclusively
at Willow Creek
distributors in the nine-state Midwest area.
In the Twin Cities area Aqua-Loc pavers are
available at
Patio Town stores and VERSA-LOK sales yards in
Oakdale, Burnsville and Maple Grove and at the
VERSA-LOK sales yards in Chaska and Sauk Rapids.
KEEP YOUR PROJECT GREEN WITH AQUA-LOC!
Using Willow Creek
Aqua-Loc Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavers
could qualify your building project for credits
under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) program. LEED is a rating and
certification system designed by the U.S. Green
Building Council to encourage the use of
technologies that reduce energy use and conserve
nonrenewable resources.
LEED-certified facilities will experience
reduced maintenance and life-cycle operation
costs. Recognizing that, many specifiers for
building projects are beginning to write LEED
certification requirements into bid
specifications. That’s where Willow Creek
Aqua-Loc Permeable Pavers can help.
A project is a viable candidate for LEED
certification if it can meet all prerequisites
and achieve the minimum number of credits to
earn the Certified level of LEED project
certification. For more information on the LEED
program, contact the U.S. Green Building Council
at (800) 795-1747, or visit
